Introduction to Cognitive Psychology

What do you think of when looking at a blank space in the lecture building ? Maybe you think the students and lecturers are resting somewhere else, or your’s lectures  closed ? maybe you think that room is left empty ?.
When you just go to class, you can calculate how many seats in it ? if you can see all the objects in the classroom ? And when you leave the classroom, do you remember where the only seat your friends are following the lecture ?
These questions, it might be considered no good and many said "ask doing so ? is not no work". But, it becomes an interesting discussion to be learned. So, is there that discuss this ?
Cognitive psychology, one of the psychology that discusses it. Among the discussion of cognitive psychology: sensation, attention, perception, memory, creativity, and others related to human cognition.
What is cognition ? Briefly, cognition is the scientific term for the process of thinking (process of thougth ). Neisser (1979 ) defines cognition as "the activities of the organism to find, acquire, organize, and use knowledge". According J.P. Chaplin (1981) cognition is "a general concept that covers all forms of recognition. Included in it is to observe, notice, give, think, imagine, estimate, consider, suspect and the judge."
At the moment we have just entered an empty classroom, we are in a fraction of a second can only know that it is the classroom. Within seconds, we can calculate how many seats in the classroom. And in a few seconds too, we can learn even memorized the location of objects that exist in the classroom. We can analyze and discuss it all in cognitive psychology. However, not enough is also second only to know and understand it.
Understanding of cognitive psychology would be important for us to be what we do every time can be organized and not lose control, can even be amazing. Studying cognitive psychology seems to be fun, because we get to know how the system is actually happening on our cognition. And equally important, we can be grateful for God's blessings given to us as human beings
