Selling
activity is not easy , a lot of people who end up out of business
because they can not run their business because sales strategy wrong ,
do not have sufficient funds to run its business , and others .Cognitive
psychology is the science of information processing , cognitive
psychology struggling with how we acquire and process information about
the world , how the information is stored and processed by the brain ,
the way we solve problems , think and compose language , and how these
processes in behavior can be observed . ( Solso , 2007)Cognition
plays an important role in the activities of buying and selling ,
because we are here required to have a unique and creative strategies to
attract consumers to prefer products or services that we provide.First
thing we do is we have to be able to build a sales strategy ahead of
time before we start a business , the way we seek information through
interviews with the vendors who are experienced in the field , when we
have received such information , it is stored and
processed by the brain , so that new ideas or unique strategies and
creative to appear, so we were able to start a business .The
second one before we do the business we also have to ensure the quality
of products or services to be offered to consumers , whether we are
worthy product and the consumer should be proud that they would not be
disappointed .The latter , Good service during the sales process , we as sellers have to provide the best service to consumers . Because of the attitude that we show in front of consumers is affected . If
we offer a product with a face that arrogant or rude words , then the
consumer will perceive that we see it is not a friendly salesman so he
might not come back again to buy our products .To
avoid that we as the seller should be able to please the consumer , we
must still provide good service and to be patient when dealing with
customers who may be annoying and give the best smile .
