Resilience is the ability of a material to absorb energy when it
is deformed elastically, and release that energy upon
unloading. Proof resilience is defined as the maximum energy that can be
absorbed within the elastic limit, without creating a permanent distortion. The
modulus of resilience is defined as the maximum energy that can be
absorbed per unit volume without creating a permanent distortion. It can be
calculated by integrating the stress-strain curve from zero to the elastic limit.
The ability of resilience are regulation and emotion,
control impulses, and the last is optimism. According to regulation
and emotions reivich shatt ( 2002 )
regulation emotion is the ability to stay calm under pressure. Individual which
has the ability to regulate control her emotions can when being peevish qualm,
we can overcome sad or temper so fasten in solving a problem. Control impulses reivich and shatt
( 2002 ) defining control impulses as a skill control desire, encouragement,
fondness, and pressure emerging from within oneself. The optimism of individuals
resilien is optimistic individuals. They have expectations about the future and
believe that they can control the direction of his life. In a study conducted,
when compared to individuals who are pessimistic, optimistic individuals who
are more physically fit, and more rarely experiencing depression, better
schools, more peoduktif in the work, and a lot more WINS in sports (Reivich
& amp; Shatt, 2002). Optimism implies that the individual believes that he
can deal with problems that arose in the foreseeable future (Reivich & amp;
Shatt, 2002).
Everyone ever feeling this or may be often because
they easy to down. So that in psychology we need understand about this, because
many of people thinking that psychology is place for sharing than if many
people trust to us don’t make them regret. As psychologist we need to know and
help another person to solving their problem. But before we can help them we
need to know what is the causes people feeling down.
